Redditch is a huge Worcestershire community with a population of around 80,000, positioned a short range to the south of Birmingham. The name 'Redditch' originates from the Arrow Creek which moves into the River Arrowhead - the bed of the brook was largely made from a clay which made use of to transform the water a red colour - "Red-ditch".
